Dolly Parton is missing her "very dear and special" friend Kenny Rogers ahead of the three-year anniversary of his death. "I miss him so much," Parton told People magazine of her frequent collaborator and close confidant.  "I've lost so many wonderful people in my life in the last few years. But Kenny - he was very, very dear and special and I never get tired of hearing us sing, all the years that we were on stage together." Over his long career, Tom Hanks has established a rock-solid screen persona as an affectionate, good-natured father figure. The FBI on Monday returned to the Kentucky property where missing mom Crystal Rogers was last seen in 2015, as the agency pursues any additional tips regarding the young woman’s disappearance.  Agents from the FBI’s Louisville Field Office traveled to 345 Paschal Ballard Lane in Bardstown, Kentucky early Monday morning to conduct "judicially authorized activity" related to Rogers’ July 2015 disappearance, the bureau announced on Twitter.  Rogers was 35-years-old when she was last seen on July 3, 2015, at the Paschal Ballard Lane address where a farm owned by the family of Roger’s boyfriend at the time, Brooks Houck, is located, local news station WDRB.com reported. Houck was the father of one of Rogers’ children and was allegedly the last person to have seen the woman before she disappeared.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is trying to determine if a man who appeared to be threatening officers with a gun was actually armed when they fatally shot him this week, a spokesperson said Thursday. Two Claremore police officers and and a Rogers County deputy shot Bobby Joe Johnston, 40, on Wednesday as he ran at them "in a threatening manner" along Interstate 44 in Claremore, about 25 miles northeast of Tulsa, OSBI spokesperson Brooke Arbeitman said. Johnston was taken to a hospital where he died, Arbeitman said.

Prince's $156 million estate will be dispersed and who is set to receive it, bringing an end to a six-year court battle.According to legal documents, obtained by ET, Judge Kevin W. Eide in the First Judicial District of Minnesota ruled on Monday that the late singer's assets be dispersed between Prince's half-siblings (Sharon Nelson, John Nelson and Norrine Nelson) and their families, their advisers and the music publishing company Primary Wave.Prince's cash — totaling $6 million — and various holding companies have also been split evenly between a holding company called Prince Legacy LLC (which consists of interests previously held by the Nelsons) and Prince Oat Holdings LLC (which consists of interests previously held by Prince's three other half-siblings (Tyka Nelson, Omarr Baker, Alfred Jackson and Primary Wave).According to the legal, documents Comerica Bank & Trust (the court-appointed administrator that handled the estate's affairs while the probate case was litigated) will get $3 million «as a reserve to ensure it can pay the costs and expenses associated with closing the Estate, including the preparation of tax returns, professional fees» and any other court expenses.Comerica Bank & Trust has also been «discharged from any and all duties and liability related to the Estate of Prince Rogers Nelson associated with Comerica's service as personal representative of the Estate through the end of the Transition Period.» Prince, who died in April 2016, did not leave a will behind and he had no children or spouse. As such, his six half-siblings were named heirs to the estate,  reported.

Thania Garcia After the Weeknd’s tour-opening Philadelphia show at the Lincoln Financial Field on July 14, a man fell about 40 feet from an escalator rail and died.Officials say the 32-year-old man, whom they still have not publicly identified, was sitting on an escalator rail when he accidentally fell and suffered extreme head trauma. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and was pronounced dead a few minutes after midnight.According to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, the incident occurred shortly before 10:50 p.m.
