Brit tourist fighting for life after being stabbed seven times by gang near Turkey hotel

stabbed seven times by a gang of thugs while on holiday in Turkey.Alister Gray, 32, was walking back to his hotel in Istanbul after a night out in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 21), when he was targeted by a thief.The hooded thug tried to snatch the phone out of Alister's hand as he headed towards an underground station at around 2.30am, but the brave tourist fought back, trying to swing at his attacker.Shocking CCTV footage then shows the moment the thug's gang shows up to reinforce their pal and they start chasing after the terrified Brit who ran away.Additional recordings then show them calmly walking away following the horrific attack.Local media reports that Gray, who works as a civil engineer, suffered serious injuries to his neck and chest after being stabbed seven times.He is being treated at Okmeydani Hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.Gray told the police: "Four people tried to take my mobile phone on the street.
