The British drama series Sanditon has been saved from cancellation and we have some amazing news for fans!

British period drama Sanditon will be back after all.

Before Meghan Markle, there was another actress who married into the British royal family – Sophie Winkleman.

Rising British star Zawe Ashton (Wanderlust, Velvet Buzzsaw) is set to star inMr. Malcolm's List, the debut feature from Emma Holly Jones, with Universal having taken international rights on the Regency-era romantic comedy.

Bridgerton on Netflix that you can watch now. Enjoy. With its Regency-era setting and a plot centered around the marriage market in Britain's high society, Bridgerton (and the novels the series is based on) is most obviously inspired by Jane Austen's timeless work.

Sanditon on PBS. At least, that's what fans of the new Shonda Rhimes-produced series are saying on Twitter. Without giving too much away, Sanditon follows Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams), a Sussex girl who comes, unexpectedly, to stay in the up-and-coming seaside town of Sanditon, and makes the acquaintance of the Parker brothers, forming a little love triangle.
