Booklovers rejoice! Beth O’Leary’s Flatshare is now a TV series

Flatshare is coming to TV screens in the very near future. Watch Below: Books To Read If You Love Romantic ComediesBritish author Beth O’Leary took to Instagram this week to share the exciting news that her best-selling 2019 novel would soon become a six-part rom-com series. “I have been absolutely bursting with excitement about this for a very long time and I cannot tell you how good it feels to finally be able to share the news with you all so that you can get excited with me” she shared with her followers. It’s not surprising the widely-loved book, which has been hailed a “Sleepless In Seattle for the 21st century” has been picked up for a screen-adaption. The book, which was one of the first to go viral on 'Book-tok' has everything you need for a perfect rom-com - complex characters, slow-burning chemistry, a picture-perfect London backdrop and loveable side characters. Whilst details are still sparse on the TV adaption, here is everything we know so far!The book has been described as “Sleepless In Seattle for the 21st century!”It’s safe to say we expect the TV adaption to closely follow the main story arc of the book - which is a modern-day take on Ephron’s classic You’ve Got Mail. Tiffy Moore and Leon Twomey have a unique living situation, to say the least.

‘Wolf Hall’ Author Hilary Mantel Remembered By Writers, Directors and More

K.J. Yossman The worlds of publishing and screen have paid tribute to author Hilary Mantel, who died on Thursday (Sept. 22) at the age of 70. Peter Kosminsky, who directed the BBC adaptation of Mantel’s novel “Wolf Hall,” told Variety: “A great light has gone out. The word ‘great’ is used very easily these days but nobody could dispute that it’s an appropriate epithet for Dame Hilary Mantel. If you look at the scale of her achievements, the impact she’s had, the breadth of her knowledge and reading… She’s someone whom people went to for thoughts and opinions on a variety of different novels ad nonfiction works. People recognized her for the massive intellect as she was. It’s hard to imagine a world without her.”
