Arctic Monkeys have announced that their upcoming show in Dublin will be cancelled due to illness.The news was announced earlier today (June 19) on the band’s Instagram page. According to the update, frontman Alex Turner has been suffering from an acute case of laryngitis and instructed to rest.The upcoming gig was scheduled to take place tomorrow (June 20) at Marley Park in Dublin, and would have been the latest date as part of the band’s ongoing UK stadium tour.According to the update, the newly-cancelled show will not be rescheduled and ticket holders will be issued refunds over the next few days.

However, in a new update shared by the band this morning, the American singer-songwriter has been forced to pull out of the Ireland show due to ill health.“Our dear friend Caroline Polachek is unfortunately not in good enough health to join us at our Dublin show today,” they confirmed to fans on Twitter.

Ben Howard has announced a 26-date live run which will take place across the UK, Ireland and Europe.The tour will kick off at La Riviera in Madrid on May 18, with two nights in Amsterdam in June and a stop at the Philarmonie de Paris on July 4. She will then take in Glasgow and Birmingham, followed by her previously announced Glastonbury performance, before heading out to mainland Europe.Bridgers will then come back to the UK on July 22 for Latitude Festival and couple of dates in Manchester and London; she will close out the tour with a few dates back in the States.“See you soon,” she wrote, sharing the dates on Instagram.Tickets go on sale at 10am GMT on Friday (March 11).
