Travel rules for going on holiday abroad are changing next month, with the traffic light system to be scrapped for good. From 4 October, the red, amber and green countries will be scrapped and replaced with one red only - which will act as a no-go list for travellers.This means anywhere not on the red list is a green destination and is clear for travel because there will no longer be an amber list.
