Celeb makeup artist Lisa Armstrong has been left “heartbroken” after splitting up with her partner but “nobody can hurt her like ex-husband Ant McPartlin did”.
The 46-year-old MUA, who paints the faces of the Strictly cast, was devastated when her long-term partner James Green ended their three-year relationship, unexpectedly leaving her single again, writes The Mirror.
Her devastation comes as her ex-husband Ant was celebrating his second wedding anniversary with wife Anne-Marie Corbett.
Lisa and James got together in 2020 and they only recently enjoyed a holiday together in the Caribbean to celebrate the electrician’s 40th birthday. Friends of the couple have been left stunned by the split.
Despite being devastated, Lisa is determined to bounce back, and according to new! magazine, her bitter and lengthy split from ex Ant hasn’t made her fearful of finding love again.
An insider said: "Lisa no longer fears the dating pool because nothing and no one can hurt her more than Ant did."
News of the pair's separation emerged earlier this month as James moved out of Lisa's £3.85 million home in London, and friends were said to be shocked.
Some have speculated his recent 40th birthday may have left Lisa “feeling second best” as she had “felt him changing” over the last few months and was “pulling away from her”.
Despite another blow, Lisa “knows her worth” and is confident she’ll be okay, as she’s leaning on her Strictly Come Dancing colleagues for support as she is single once again.
Lisa is preparing for the upcoming Strictly series, which has been a good distraction for her as she has been “focusing on getting stuck back into work”.
A source told Closer Magazine: "She feels so grateful to have the show to fall back on and

Daniel D'Addario Chief TV Critic “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” gave way to “Rhoda”; “Cheers” eventually brought us “Frasier.” Could the legacy of “And Just Like That” be the London-set dramedy “Samantha”? Yes, it’s unlikely; a potential spinoff based on the ongoing adventures of Kim Cattrall’s character from “And Just Like That” and “Sex and the City” necessitates the participation of, well, Cattrall, who’s been very clear that her cameo on the “AJLT” finale was a once-ever thing. But that cameo, too, once seemed unlikely-to-impossible, given the haze of bad feeling between Cattrall and her former castmates.
