Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton shares her one regret from time on the show

Chantelle Houghton stole the hearts of the nation and won Celebrity Big Brother back in 2006, but the star has one regret from her time on the show that still haunts her today.The TV personality, who turns 40 next week, entered the Big Brother house as a non-celebrity with the task to convince her celebrity housemates such as Pete Burns, Jodi Marsh and Michael Barrymore that she was famous and part of a girl group called Kandy Floss. While being tasked with the biggest challenge of all, Chantelle who was just 22 years old, also fell in love with Ordinary Boys' Preston who she went on to marry. While they're no longer together, she said her highlight "had to be Preston".
As the iconic reality TV series returns later this year after a five year hiatus, Chantelle revealed exclusively to OK! there is one regret from her time on Big Brother she still thinks about today. When asked if there is anything she'd change about her experience on the show, Chantelle confessed: "My hair extensions that I went in with were just awful. "Absolutely awful, I thought I looked amazing, I thought my hair was amazing".
She cheerily added: "It was the look at the time, along with the orange lipstick. "But that influenced a lot of girls out there who still talk to me about it now". Reflecting back on her time on the show, Chantelle said: "It was the most incredible, amazing experience, once in a lifetime experience that I will ever have.
"It was life changing, it really was and I was just so glad of the opportunity and it just shaped my life. "Up until that point, I didn't really know where my life was going or anything and I got there and it just shaped my whole life. "It was just incredible and I loved every minute of it."
