Liam Payne is reportedly back at home in the UK after being rushed to hospital with agonising pain on a trip to Italy with his girlfriend.
The One Direction star, 30, was was underdoing urgent tests just weeks after being forced to cancel his South American tour because of a "serious kidney infection". Offering an update on his condition on TikTok, American influencer Kate Cassidy said, " "He is doing so much better.
He is out of the hospital and he is in good hands." A source also told The Sun that Liam was "back home in England" after receiving round-the-clock medical care in Italy. The source told the newspaper that doting Kate stayed out in Lake Como while Liam was getting his medical care, meaning the pair could fly back to the UK together.
"Initially it would have been this month he made his musical comeback but right now all focus is on his health," they said. "That is the priority." OK! approached representatives for Liam for comment.

Posting a video with the news to his Instagram page, Liam said, “I ended up in hospital with a bad kidney infection. “I’ve got the best people around me at home trying to help me recover… but we’re going to have to reschedule the tour.” He added that the pain was “something I wouldn’t wish on anyone”.
