Harry Styles has delivered an intimate performance of his song ‘Boyfriends’ for Japanese YouTube series, The First Take.The performance depicts Styles delivering a stripped-back version of the ‘Harry’s House’ track against a clean white background, in line with the series’ typical style. Sarah Jones and Elin Sandberg provide backing vocals, while guitars come courtesy of Ny Oh and Mitch Rowland.The series is known for challenging artists to perform any song of their liking, but in one take without any vocal or visual effects.

Paolo Nutini’s new album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet‘.The legendary filmmaker is reportedly credited on the album’s opening track ‘Aftermath’, which features a sample of a passage from his 1993 film True Romance.A source told The Sun: “Paolo likes to make all of his music himself, but to have Tarantino’s name credited on your track is pretty cool.”Nutini previously sampled Charlie Chaplin’s speech from 1940’s The Great Dictator, which he used on 2014 song ‘Iron Sky’.Last month, the Scottish singer-songwriter announced his first album in eight years for a July 1 release. With it he shared two new songs ‘Lose It’ and ‘Through The Echoes’ and also unveiled another single ‘Shine A Light’ last week.Nutini was one of the support acts for Liam Gallagher’s Knebworth weekender last week alongside Kasabian, Fat White Family and others.

Lana Del Rey’s follow-up to last year’s ‘Blue Banisters’ is “coming soon”, according to her manager Ben Mawson.The star released ‘Blue Banisters’ in October 2021 and since then has only shared one new track – the Euphoria soundtrack contribution ‘Watercolor Eyes’.On Sunday (June 5), Mawson shared a screenshot of an article rounding up “20 unforgettable Hollywood Bowl concerts”, which included Del Rey’s 2019 show at the venue. “A true star,” he wrote in the caption. “one of the greatest living female songwriters that will influence for decades to come and a real performer that has inspired multiple generations.

Harry Styles has donated his fee from the new Apple AirPods advert to a refugee aid charity, the International Rescue Committee (IRC).The star is featured in the new commercial for the company’s AirPods with spatial audio alongside ‘Music For A Sushi Restaurant’, the opening song of his new album ‘Harry’s House’.Following the unveiling of the advert last week, Styles announced that he would be donating his paycheque from it the IRC, a humanitarian aid organisation. The group are currently involved in helping the more than 6million refugees who have been displaced from Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in February.“Thank you to @HarryStyles and @Apple for your generous donation to the IRC,” the charity tweeted, confirming the star’s donation.

Liam Gallagher‘s new album ‘C’mon You Know’ has gained the former Oasis man his fourth consecutive solo Number One album.All of Gallagher’s solo studio albums, 2017’s ‘As You Were‘, 2019’s ‘Why Me? Why Not‘ and his latest, have all reached the top of the UK albums chart, as has 2020’s ‘MTV Unplugged (Live at Hull City Hall)‘.It marks Gallagher’s eleventh chart-topping album overall, including his time in Oasis. Another live album ‘Down By The River Thames‘ has also entered this week’s chart at Number Four.Gallagher, who headlines the first of two enormous Knebworth shows tonight, said of the accolade: “What do we have here? Another Number One record brothers and sisters! Thanks to everyone whose bought ‘C’mon You Know’ and ‘Down By The River’.

Paolo Nutini has shared another track from upcoming album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ – check out the anthemic ‘Shine A Light’ below.The track follows on from ‘Lose It’ and ‘Through The Echoes’ which were both released last month to announce Nutini’s fourth album, the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Caustic Love’.‘Shine A Light’ is an upbeat slice of arena-ready pop which is perfectly timed, since Nutini will headline TRNSMT and Victorious Festival this summer, and later this month he’ll perform two large outdoor shows in Bristol and Belfast. Liam Gallagher has said he might dedicate a song to brother Noel when he plays Knebworth next weekend.Speaking to Zoe Ball on The Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Gallagher was asked if he will be sending Noel a card for his birthday this weekend.“Nah nah nah,” Liam replied. “When is it, Sunday? …I’ll have just done Knebworth, bless him, I might give him a shout out, dedicate one of his songs to him.

Harry Styles has made his latest music video with James Corden for $300 (£238).The video was made as part of a segment on The Late Late Show with Corden and saw the pair knocking on various doors in a New York neighbourhood trying to find an apartment that they could use for the shoot.After a while, the pair stumbled on a group of four shocked flatmates, one of whom was also a Styles fan, who welcomed Corden and Styles into their home.
