Lewis Capaldi has shared how 'mad' it is to have fans so far away from Scotland. The Grammy-award nominated Scot took to social media following his sold-out Washington DC gig at the Anthem.
He shared a clip of the crowd singing along to 'Someone You Loved', writing: "V V mad to be half way across the world from home and see so many of ya singing along"
The 26-year-old is currently on the first leg of his biggest-ever sold-out headline tour of North America and Canada.
As ever Lewis enjoyed 'every bit of' the Washington gig, even wishing it didn't end. He wrote: "Loved every bit of that. Didn't want it to end thank u all so v much!"
Prior to the gig, Lewis shared a clip of thousands of fans waiting outside of the venue. He wrote: "Aw just been sent this of all of you in the queue outside! See ya soon."
The singer-songwriter seems to be enjoying every minute of the tour so far, sharing videos of him and his crew out taking a trip to the White House.
Last week the star posed in an unbuttoned cowboy shirt and hat as he kicked off his tour in Nashville.
Taking to social media, he wrote: "This wagonmaster sure is happy to be back in Nashville kicking off his sold-out North American & Canada tour! Yeehaw motherf***** x.'"
Fans were delighted that Lewis was finally kicking off his North America and Canada tour, with famous faces including Niall Horn, Mimi Webb and Amelia Dimoldenberg commenting on the post.
Niall wrote: "Do you remember what year it was that you got so sexy ?"
And Amelia simply stated: "Stun"
Mimi Webb commented: "Ahahahahaha I’m dead Gowan son"
