EXCLUSIVE: Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired North American rights to the romantic comedy The Zombie Wedding. The film is based on the eponymous interactive play and is the first title to launch the Weekly World News IP-driven studio slate of movie projects. Freestyle Digital Media is planning a fall 2024 release date.

Euphoria star Hunter Schafer was reportedly arrested after taking part in a pro-Palestinian protest rally in New York City on Tuesday (February 27).Schafer – who plays Jules Vaughn in the HBO show – was detained during a protest with 50 other activists outside NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Center in the city.It is believed that the protest was being held in order to disrupt President Joe Biden’s appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers in the building. PJ Harvey has shared the most video for ‘Seem An I’ which features actor Ruth Wilson.The video for the song, taken from Harvey’s recent album ‘I Inside The Old Year Dying’, was shot at Kennel Farm outside Salisbury and was created by Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director, Colm Bairéad. In recent years, Wilson has appeared in shows including Luther, The Affair and His Dark Materials, while her film credits include Jane Eyre and Saving Mr. Banks.“Ruth and I became friends after working together on Clio Barnard’s film Dark River,” said Harvey in a press release.

Jimmy Eat World have released a live version of their third LP ‘Clarity’ in celebration of its 25th anniversary.Titled ‘Clarity: Phoenix Sessions’, the limited edition two-LP set features all of the album’s original 13 songs which were recorded live during the band’s 2021 three-night livestream series of the same name, which featured them performing a different album in full during each show.The album is pressed on a translucent sunkissed coloured vinyl and includes an extensive gatefold with previously unseen behind-the-scenes photos by Steve Thrasher along with notes from the band. ‘Clarity: Phoenix Sessions’ was self-produced by Jimmy Eat World and mixed by Jim Adkins.
