Dave Grohl has teamed up with Epiphone to launch a signature version of his DG-335 guitar.The collaboration between the Foo Fighters frontman and the manufacturer pays tribute to Grohl’s legendary axe, which has accompanied him on tours around the world and comes in Pelham Blue, complete with a host of premium features.Epiphone has partnered with Gibson Custom on the release, and the model features a combination of ES-335 and the Trini Lopez model features that Grohl requested.The signature model is available to purchase now for £1,249 via the Epiphone website.Features listed in the product description include a semi-hollow body, bound diamond-shaped F-holes, one-piece mahogany neck with an elliptical profile, Trini Lopez-style headstock and Gibson USA Burstbucker pickups.An Epiphone Dave Grohl hardshell case, embossed with his signature, is also included.“This is one of the most requested models in Epiphone’s history, so we are X-Static to offer this exceptional guitar to players worldwide,” the manufacturer wrote on their website.Grohl is the latest musician to partner up with a guitar manufacturer to drop a custom release.

Josh Homme has announced his one-night-only ‘Josh Homme & Friends’ benefit gig with Dave Grohl, Matt Helders, Beck and more.The Queens Of The Stone Age frontman took to the band’s official social media accounts to share the details of the benefit gig. Mark Ronson has recruited some huge names from the rock world to help push for Foreigner to be inducted into the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.The producer – famed for his work with Amy Winehouse and on the Barbie soundtrack – has a close connection to the band, with the guitarist Mick Jones being his stepfather.The rockers earned their first nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, despite being eligible since 2002.Now, following the nominations being announced for this year’s instalment, he has made a push to have the band inducted into the Cleveland Hall, and recruited some huge names to help build support.“Everything that made me want to be a record producer came from being in the studio watching Foreigner make records,” he wrote in a new Instagram update.“I’m still completely in awe of the sound of those first five albums. Foo Fighters will be performing an intimate show in Washington DC in aid of Power To The Patients, a non-profit organisation helping to make affordable healthcare more accessible.Chuck D and Fat Joe, the latter of whom has been particularly involved with the non-profit, will also be in attendance, as well as lawmakers, government officials and Power To The Patients staff.
