Lea Michele had an icon cheering her on in the audience at a recent Funny Girl performance – Glenn Close.
The 37-year-old Glee alum took to social media on Monday (August 28) to reveal that the 76-year-old screen icon attended one of her final shows in the role of Fanny Brice.
They even got a photo together on the Broadway stage!

“Had the pleasure of meeting the incredible Glenn Close at [Funny Girl] last week,” Lea gushed alongside a photo of the pair.
In it, Glenn has a wide smile on her face while wrapping an arm around Lea‘s shoulder. We hope that she enjoyed the show!
Lea and the rest of the Funny Girl cast will take their last bows on the stage in the very near future.
