Harry Styles fans have been sent into a frenzy after the singer announced title and release date of his third solo album.

Glastonbury has announced the 90 acts on their longlist for this year’s Emerging Talent Competition.The annual contest sees rising talent submitting their music in the hopes of winning a slot on one of the Worthy Farm festival’s main stages.Supported by PRS For Music and the PRS Foundation, the 2022 Emerging Talent Competition longlist has been selected by a panel of 30 music writers, with that group now set to be whittled down to a shortlist of eight by judges including members of the Glastonbury team.The winners will then be decided at a forthcoming live event in Pilton, the Somerset town where the festival is based. They’ll be awarded a £5,000 PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development prize, with two runners-up also receiving a £2,500 PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development prize.All of the 90 acts who are part of this year’s Emerging Talent Competition have been compiled into a single playlist, which you can listen to below.The last Emerging Talent Competition took place in 2020, with R.A.E being announced as the winner.

The European summer tour will take in fourteen shows in ten countries across the contintent and will present the premiere of “a brand new ‘Sixty’ production,” starting in Madrid on June 1.The announcement notes that the group will be playing its first concert in Liverpool in more than 50 years, followed by two shows in London’s Hyde Park.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced their first UK headline shows in nine years, where they’re set to try out some new material.The New York band last toured the UK in 2013 following the release of their most recent studio album, ‘Mosquito’, which came out in April of that year.Today (March 14) the trio confirmed that they’ll perform two UK dates this summer: the O2 Apollo in Manchester (June 5) and the O2 Academy Brixton in London (June 7). Support will come from English Teacher (Manchester) as well as Dry Cleaning and Anika (London).“OK UK! Tickets are available here.The residency is being held to celebrate the “platinum” 20th anniversary of the first time they performed live in London in 2002 at Arthur Baker’s ‘Return To New York’ and Erol Alkan‘s ‘Trash’ parties.The O2 Academy Brixton run will now take place from June 27-29 and then July 1-3, with the extra dates being June 27-28. The dates are the band’s first UK shows in over four years and tickets are available here.Last month the group announced that they will play four nights in a row at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall from March 28-31, and four nights at Boston’s Roadrunner from April 3-6.We’ve added two more dates in London.
