Laura Anderson covered in bruises as she shows off ‘glamorous postpartum life’

Laura Anderson shared an insight into the brutal reality of her life as a new mum as she deals with what is known as the "fourth trimester" after welcoming her newborn baby daughter. The Scottish Love Island star, who shares little girl Bonnie with actor Gary Lucy, posted a look at her bruises after going through labour. As she revealed the nasty looking marks on her arms, Laura confided in fans that the reason for her appearance was down to having injections and the reality of giving birth.
The blonde beauty also shared her woes about already getting mastitis, a condition where women's breast milk ducts get blocked and cause a lot of soreness and pain during breastfeeding.
Asking fans to send in their questions so they could "catch up," Laura said on her Instagram stories: "Got mastitis already eek so off for some antibiotics. "PS don't be a hero & get that epidural. Do not wait until you're 9cm." What's more, the reality TV star told fans that despite going through such a tough time in the early days after giving birth, she was sadly doing a lot of it without the support of friends and family.
"PS currently had zero visitors as everyone has covid. Safety first," the star explained, going on to share more symptoms postpartum. "The kankles have almost subsided.
But these bruises, ouch," Laura lamented. "The glamorous life of post partum. "I'll hold off on sharing the other symptoms.
"Really want to catch up with you all but there's not enough hours in the day atm," the tired star added. It comes as Laura sent the rumour mill whirling once more when she announced the birth of her little girl, as there was also plenty of snaps of mum and dad cuddled up together.
