Laura Anderson has taken to social media to share another update with her fans on how the first few weeks are going as a first-time mum. She pleaded for advice from her followers on how to get her dog to accept her newborn daughter.
It comes as the 34-year-old former Scottish reality star admitted her birth to daughter Bonnie Rose whom she welcomed into the world with ex-partner Gary Lucy earlier this month.
The ex-Love Island contestant decided to open up in a candid chat with her followers on Instagram about her birthing story which she described as being "horrendous". She revealed she lost 1.6 litres of blood following a haemorrhage where she was nearly rushed to theatre.
"I felt like no one was taking me seriously because my contractions were coming like every minute and a half," Laura explained before admitting ex-partner Gary had to fill her in on a lot of the process as she couldn't remember most of it.
She continued speaking of the birth itself: "It was amazing, I was just talking to her and she really liked that, but I had a second-degree tear so then I had to get stitches which took at least 45 minutes and if I didn't have the epidural I don't know if I would have been able to sit there and get the stitches."
And now she's facing a new challenge as her dog Buddy has been making life difficult juggling her newborn daughter as the pooch seems to have got jealous of the new arrival and decided to do the toilet indoors for "attention."
"Buddy update: he's been a nightmare," Laura wrote alongside a video clip of her pooch and daughter Bonnie lying on her playmat and a crying emoji. "Staying away from her actually but doing the toilet inside for attention. I've enough s*** to clean up."
