Latin Grammys 2023: How to watch Latin music’s biggest night

Latin GRAMMY Awards, and for the first time in history, the prestigious award ceremony took place in Sevilla, Spain. The night was full of surprises, and epic performances, and it should come as no surprise that Shakira was one of the stand-out stars of the night.

Shakira. The Colombian singer was one of the big winners of the night at the Latin Grammys, celebrating her wins with her kids Sasha and Milan.

Latin GRAMMYS are in motion in Sevilla, Spain, and Shakira is there with her children. After winning Best Pop Song for Music Session Vol. 53, Shakira commanded the stage at the the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones, singing ‘Acróstico’.

Thania Garcia In the Latin Grammy Awards first year in Spain, it was only right that Catalan singer Rosalía kicked off the 24th annual ceremony with a flamenco ballad. With an orchestra of percussionists as her support, Rosalía gave a touching rendition of Spanish singer Rocío Jurado’s 1985 track, “Se Nos Rompió El Amor.” A student of flamenco, Rosalía was able to show off her chops in a powerful tribute to the genre she started her global career with.

Laura Pausini was recognized this Wednesday in Sevilla with the award ‘Person of the Year.’ The recognition is one handed out by the Latin Grammys 2023, and was granted to acknowledge Pausini’s incredible career as a singer and musician. The event was hosted on November 15th, in a special ceremony that took place at the The Conference and Exhibition Centre, also known as FIBES, where the Latin Grammys will be set tomorrow, November 16th.

Laura Pausini, the 2023 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, joined forces with the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Francisco Guerrero in Sevilla, Spain. The singer pitched in to help the foundation’s commitment to global music education, lending her support to nurture and inspire the next generation of Latin music talents.At the event, the foundation revealed a generous donation of musical instruments worth $20,000 (€18,905) to enrich the conservatory’s music program.
