Coronavirus cases have more than doubled in a week in six areas of Greater Manchester the latest infection rate data shows.
The number of cases has gone up by more than 100 percent week-on-week in Manchester, Salford, Bury, Trafford, Tameside and by nearly 200 percent in Stockport.
The steady decline in the rate in Bolton continues.
However, there were significant rises in the rates in all nine other Greater Manchester boroughs.
