Lady Gaga to Perform at Grammy Awards on Sunday

Lady Gaga received a standing ovation from the audience at the Grammy Awards for her performance of “Do I Love You” from her joint album with Tony Bennett, Love for Sale. Among those in the Las Vegas crowd showing their support on Sunday (3 April) was fellow nominee Billie Eilish, who was captured screaming and cheering at Gaga’s star turn.

The night proved fruitful for the group, as they won Best R&B Performance for «Leave the Door Open,» tying with Jazmine Sullivan («Pick Up Your Feelings») and later won Song of the Year for the same track!The  host and celebrated stand-up comic had endless charm and class as he delivered a fun monologue and didn't hold back when it came to poking fun at some of the A-list music stars in the room. He also delivered a low-key jab at the Oscars slap controversy, joking, «We're gonna be listening to some music, we're gonna be dancing, we're gonna be singing.

Lady Gaga is giving a showstopping performance on music’s big night!

Tony Bennett made a surprise appearance at Sunday's 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards when he appeared in a pre-taped video to introduce his friend and frequent collaborator, Lady Gaga.The 36-year-old triple-threat star gave a powerful and emotional performance Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, singing her and Bennett's «Love for Sale» and «Do I Love You.» Even though Bennett, who blew Gaga a kiss and was decked out in a suit, wasn't physically in attendance, his presence was palpable. At the end of the performance, Gaga was moved to tears.

While she was singing the latter, footage of her and her collaborator was shown on a screen behind her.Bennett was unable to attend the ceremony because of his health issues.

Gaga was announced as a performer this morning; the pair are up for two of the top categories, Record of the Year and Album of the Year, for the song “I Get a Kick Out of You” and the album it comes from, “Love for Sale.”Danny Bennett, Tony’s son and longtime manager, says in a statement to Variety:“Tony is beyond thrilled, particularly at the young age of 95, to once again be recognized along with his musical collaborator  and  dear friend Lady Gaga by the Recording Academy for their album ‘Love for Sale.’  To have the album nominated in six categories including Album of the Year and Record of the Year is an incredible honor.
