Brits have been treated to an extra bank holiday this year, with another Monday off to celebrate the King's Coronation this May.
There are already two bank holidays in May; Monday 1, known as Early May bank holiday and Monday 29, the Spring bank holiday. Monday May 8 will also be a day off in honour of the royal event, two days after the King's coronation at Westminster Abbey on Saturday May 6.
People looking to maximise their time off work can use their holiday leave wisely - gaining a total of 10 days off by only booking off four. The experts at Frank Recruitment Group have shared how Brits can more than double their time off this spring.

The hack applies to UK workers entitled to bank holidays as part of their employment contract, who normally work Monday through to Friday. Here is how to make the most of your time off in May.
With the Early May bank holiday on Monday 1, workers can book off Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 May. This results in 10 days off including the weekends from Saturday April 29 until Sunday May 7.
Alternatively, if the dates suit better, you could book off the remainder of the week after the coronation and have nine days instead. This would mean booking Tuesday May 9 until Friday May 12 off, giving Saturday May 6 until Sunday May 14 off.
Or Brits could go all out and book all eight days of annual leave, taking a total of 16 days away from their desk to spend however they please.

Vulture reported on Tuesday. The return to its prized slot on the network comes just a year after it became the first live series hosted on Disney+.At the time, the move was justified by Disney’s desperation to expand their “demographic reach” as well as an upcoming Monday Night Football schedule that would trump the tenured dance competition. “The show’s broad appeal, as well as the overwhelming popularity of its Disney-themed competition nights, make Disney+ the perfect home for ‘Dancing With the Stars’ while continuing to expand our demographic reach,” Kareem Daniel, the former chairman of now-defunct Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution division, said at the time. The transition followed a major shakeup in the last few years, which included the exit of executive producer Andrew Llinares who oversaw the replacement of co-host Tom Bergeron with Tyra Banks for Season 29.Now, “DWTS” veteran Julianne Hough will replace the notorious supermodel as co-host alongside Alfonso Ribeiro for the upcoming season, which is slated to air this fall. The competition’s return to its coveted slot on ABC has not been officially announced by the network nor Disney, but Vulture reports that Disney+ subscribers will have the best of both worlds: the episodes will continue to be live-streamed via the platform, in addition to being available next-day on Hulu.Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will return as judges in the upcoming season, but without their legendary fourth panelist Len Goodman.
