Katie Price has admitted that she feels her friends have used her for money in the past and claimed they’re “obsessed” with her and “not real” friends. Katie’s comments as she opened up about her Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me. Speaking to OK! and other publications about the frank doc, the 44 year old confessed that she would often pay for friends to come out with her as they wouldn’t be able to afford the places she liked to go.
The former glamour model said: "I’ve realised there are too many people around me who are paid to do a job for me or I’m employing them in some sort of way. “And that’s not really a friendship. Or if I was going to go out anywhere, I would pay for people to come with me, as in they wouldn’t be able to afford to go to the places I was going to.
So I’d be like: 'It’s alright, I’ll pay for you'. And really that’s not a real friend either.” The mum-of-five also opened up about how she often introduced different friends to each other and then they began meeting up behind her back. Katie continued: “What I have found through my years is that because I’m a kind person and I’d always introduce my friends to other friends I’d known, and then I’d find out behind my back they’d be meeting up and they’d become friends.
“It’s like people around me become obsessed with me and their world revolves around me and they’re obsessed with what I’m doing and this and that. It’s just never been normal for me. “You know when you break up with people, you know this happens to a lot of people, friends do have to make a decision about what side they’re going on.
