Kate Middleton recycled a chic coat dress that she previously wore years earlier to commemorate Anzac Day on Monday morning. Back in 2015, the 40 year old wore a stunning white Alexander McQueen coat dress for her now six year old daughter Princess Charlotte's christening.
And the Duchess of Cambridge, who recently rang in her son Louis' fourth birthday, proved she was a massive fan of the ensemble as she re-wore it for her latest appearance at Westminster Abbey alongside her husband, Prince William. The royal cut an elegant figure in the midi-length number which features structured collared lapels, and she teamed it with a monochrome headband by milliner Jane Taylor. Kate looked dazzling as she accessorised with Princess Diana's Collingwood earrings while toting her belongings in a chic, black clutch. The brunette appeared in great spirits as she strutted along in a pair of towering black stiletto heels for the event.
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, and marks the anniversary of the start of the First World War Gallipoli landings. As well as wearing the coat dress to her daughter Charlotte's christening, she wore it to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding a few years later.
Kate is known for being thrifty when it comes to her wardrobe and loves to repeat an outfit and re-wear her favourite shoes. Kate and William's appearance on Monday came after the pair enjoyed a trip to the French Alps with their children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three. The hands-on parents reportedly saw their trip to Courchevel, France, "as the perfect opportunity for family time".
