Kate Middleton left 'absolutely' guilt-ridden after question from George and Charlotte

When it comes to the royals, members of the family are subject to various traditions that have been passed from generation to generation. In fact, one notable tradition regards the titles that royals are given depending on their position in the line of succession. And while the matter may be a rather complicated affair, when it comes down to it, the royals are just like any other family and have their own special nicknames.

As the daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Princess Charlotte is bound to inherit plenty of jewels and trinkets from her royal ancestors. However, one item the seven year old Princess is also set to be inheriting is a tiara belonging to her late grandmother Princess Diana.The Spencer Tiara was worn by Princess Diana when she wed Prince Charles in 1981.

The Duchess of Cambridge currently resides in two royal residences at Kensington Palace and Anmer Hall with her husband Prince William and their three children; Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Before she married into the Royal Family, the Duchess lived in a range of places including Berkshire and her university accommodation. Kate is the oldest of three children, with brother James and Pippa Middleton , 36, being her younger siblings.

After Prince William and Kate Middleton stunned on the red carpet at the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere, the Duchess explained why her three children were not in attendance. While talking with children at the premiere on Thursday night, Middleton explained Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ absence.  "It’s a school night," Middleton said with a small laugh. Princess Charlotte is "sporty like her mother" Kate Middleton and will be giving big brother Prince George "a run for his money on the football pitch," a royal expert has claimed. Jennie Bond spoke to OK! about the young royal as she turned seven years old earlier this week, posing for a gorgeous portrait captured by her mum Kate. Prince William has an endearing French-inspired pet name for Princess Charlotte, revealed in an intimate moment during a royal visit.The Royal Family are, much like families up and down the country, known for having nicknames for each other which they use in informal settings. For example, when she was a toddler the Queen became known as ‘Lilibet’ by close relatives within the family due the way she pronounced her own name Elizabeth.

Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo is the nanny of Kate Middleton and Prince William's children. Maria is Spanish, and she has been the nanny for the Cambridges since 2014, and first started looking after George when he was just eight months old. Maria is a graduate of the prestigious Norland College and students here are trained in traditional child rearing skills as well as cooking and sewing techniques.

Royal nannies have to undertake a vigorous training process to get to the point where they are working for the royal family. Norland College is the most prestigious nanny-training school in the world, based in Bath and has taught nannies for royal families around the world.

Kate Middleton isn't the only 'celebrity mum' at her children's £6,900 a year school in West London.

Discussions have been ramping up recently about Prince William and Kate Middleton moving to be closer to the Queen on the Windsor Estate. Usually the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge split their family time between two beautiful homes, one in London and one in Norfolk.

Princess Charlotte and the Cambridges’ dog have been released to mark her seventh birthday. The young royal was photographed by her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, at the family home in Norfolk. Kensington Palace released three photos which show Charlotte surrounded by bluebells in the gardens of Anmer Hall on the Queen’s Sandringham estate.

Kate Middleton doesn’t always opt for designers - she sometimes chooses to shop in regular places like the rest of us. The 40-year-old was once papped with daughter Princess Charlotte, 6, doing a spot of retail therapy in Sainsbury’s. The two were spotted in King’s Lynn, near to The Cambridge’s family home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

The Cambridge children are going to have “visible roles” in the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrations, according to reports. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are reportedly set to appear at a number of events in tribute to the Queen as a “show of Royal force” when she celebrates 70 years of rule in June. According to reports, the three children are likely to ride in a carriage to the Trooping the Colour ceremony, taking place on 2 June, before appearing on the balcony at Buckingham Palace as the Royal family watch the RAF flyover.Their dad, Prince William, is said to be leading the Trooping of Colour ceremony.
