Kate Middleton , the Duchess of Cambridge, is looking for a new assistant and for those interested, you’ll need to be a fan of hers. With an annual salary of £27,500, the Duchess’s royal household has released a new vacancy on LinkedIn, with the aim to seek someone who supports her charitable and official work as a royal.
According to the job criteria, an ideal candidate must possess "previous secretarial and administrative experience", as well as "excellent IT skills" and having a "knowledge of the diversity of communities" which includes the UK, Commonwealth and worldwide. A notable eligibility criterion, however, is that anyone who applies must be a fan of Kate and husband Prince William.
On LinkedIn, the job vacancy states that there should be "an awareness of, and interest in, TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's work and activities." The successful candidate will be tasked to support the assistant private secretary such as managing their diary, responding to emails and telephone calls, arrange meetings and more, with the role being based in Kensington Palace. The job role has already received over 200 applicants, with the application currently being open for those interested until May 12.
