Kate Middleton and Prince William give Princess Charlotte present she wanted 'more than anything'

Being a royal means there are certain protocols to follow. This is something that Kate Middleton did brilliantly during a recent visit to the Commonwealth Games on August 2 2022.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their daughter Princess Charlotte attended the sporting event that was officially opened by Charles, Prince of Wales on July 28.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been on a private Island getaway with their children for the summer break, according to reports. After an extremely busy year attending more official engagements, tours and public appearances than ever, the family-of-five are said to be scaling back on work duties and the limelight to spend quality time together during the six weeks holiday. It's believed the couple took Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Tresco, part of the Isles of Scilly, for their sunny UK staycation for the third year running.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Birmingham for day five of the Commonwealth Games and they brought Princess Charlotte along to catch some of the action. Princess Charlotte, seven, sat alongside her mother in a black and white striped dress with a Peter Pan collar to watch the swimming.

Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, have been students at Thomas's School in Battersea for the last couple of years. Their younger brother Prince Louis, four, has been a nursery student at Willcocks Nursery School in London. However, their move to Windsor means they will all be attending new schools.

young royal was pictured pulling a range of expressions – and even sticking her tongue out – as she enjoyed swimming heats, a hockey match and gymnastics. The young princess also revealed gymnastics was the sport she liked most.

Princess Charlotte topped off her fun-filled day at the Commonwealth Games by watching her favourite sport with mum and dad Kate Middleton and Prince William. The seven year old royal made a rare solo public appearance with her parents, who took their daughter to sporting venues across Birmingham and to an official event in honour of the games.

Princess Charlotte has been pictured cheering on swimmers at the Commonwealth Games with her parents. The three were at Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Smethwick, the only brand-new venue for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Charlotte seemed to be enjoying herself, making plenty of faces – though nothing to compete with Prince Louis at the Platinum Jubilee.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly set to move to Windsor shortly with their three children, with the family planning to move from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage. Kate, 40, and William, also 40, are believed to be making the huge move in a bid to be closer to the Queen, 96, and it means that their two eldest children, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, will be leaving their current school and starting at a new one closer to Windsor.

Go, team! Ahead of England’s championship match in the UEFA Women’s Euro Final, Prince William and daughter Princess Charlotte had a supportive message for its players.

Princess Charlotte has wished England's Lionesses good luck as she appeared in an adorable video next to her doting dad Prince William. The women's national football team is set to take on Germany tonight Sunday 31 July at 5pm as they've reached the UEFA Women's EURO 2022 final. Ahead of the big game, William, 40, who is both a football fan and the FA's president, and his seven year old daughter took to Instagram to share a supportive message.
