Princess Charlotte reveals favourite sport during memorable Commonwealth Games day

Kensington Palace has released a statement about Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge‘s three children!

Prince George and Princess Charlotte had their final day at their former school, Thomas's in Battersea, South London, earlier this summer and will be joined by their younger brother, Prince Louis, at the exclusive prep school. A private school has been on the site where Lambrook stands since 1860 and it has many royal links.

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children are saying goodbye to their home at Kensington Palace, and moving to a new residence 30 miles away in the county of Berkshire -- home of Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II resides.A source told ET in June,  «Prince William and Duchess Kate are expected to relocate this fall to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. The couple have been looking at schools in the Berkshire area near Bucklebury, where Kate’s parents are and closer to the Queen’s home base at Windsor Castle.»The cottage is just a short walk from the queen's home, giving the family easier access to the 96-year-old monarch. For its part, Lambrook is known to be one of the top prep schools in the U.K.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are heading to a new school next month.

Your first day at a new school is always memorable, whether you skipped in happily or hung back tearfully. And this September brings with it that rite of passage for all three Cambridge children as they find their feet at their new school, Lambrook in Berkshire.

A royal expert has said that Prince William and Kate Middleton gave up their “dream” of London as a place to live in an effort for their children to have a “more normal life”.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to move from their family home in Kensington Palace in London, where they raised their three children, to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, near enough the capital for royal duties to still be carried out.Though William, 40, and Kate, 41, have agreed that Windsor is the best place for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis., to grow up and continue their school years, it is thought that it will be sore for them leaving London. Royal Executive Editor Omid Scobie wrote on Yahoo!: “Though London was originally the dream, it became increasingly apparent to the Duke and Duchess, that living in Kensington Gardens may not be the best place for Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four, as they grow up.

Being a royal means there are certain protocols to follow. This is something that Kate Middleton did brilliantly during a recent visit to the Commonwealth Games on August 2 2022.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their daughter Princess Charlotte attended the sporting event that was officially opened by Charles, Prince of Wales on July 28.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Birmingham for day five of the Commonwealth Games and they brought Princess Charlotte along to catch some of the action. Princess Charlotte, seven, sat alongside her mother in a black and white striped dress with a Peter Pan collar to watch the swimming.

Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, have been students at Thomas's School in Battersea for the last couple of years. Their younger brother Prince Louis, four, has been a nursery student at Willcocks Nursery School in London. However, their move to Windsor means they will all be attending new schools.

Princess Charlotte is already getting into the swing of her royal duties.Kate Middleton and Prince William's only daughter made a surprise appearance at the 2022 Commonwealth Games on Tuesday alongside her royal parents, marking the first time she has joined them for a public engagement without either of her two brothers. Sporting a striped black-and-white dress with a Peter Pan collar, the youngster was hard to miss sitting with her parents in the stands of the Sandwell Aquatics Centre for the swimming competition. The princess seemingly enjoyed her day out as she was photographed smiling with her mom, reacting to the competition and giving her dad an enthusiastic thumbs up. Some very special guests are in attendance today. A warm welcome to Birmingham, @KensingtonRoyal!#B2022pic.twitter.com/MQSNB47B37In addition to the swimming, Charlotte also joined her parents for a visit to SportsAid House, for which the Duchess of Cambridge serves as patron. The pint-sized royal shook hands with SportsAid CEO Tim Lawler and sat in a meeting with athletes at the house.  While Charlotte and her siblings don't typically join their parents for daily public engagements, the older two did make appearances at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee events in June and for the Service of Thanksgiving held in March in honor of their late great-grandfather, Prince Philip. Just days ago, she joined her dad in a video message shared on social media for England's women's national football team, the Lionesses.

Taking it all in! Princess Charlotte joined her parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate, for the Commonwealth Games, and it seems like she had a blast.

Princess Charlotte showed off her cheeky side after pulling funny faces during a rare outing with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The young royal appeared to take inspiration from her little brother Prince Louis, who was the centre of attention just last month at the Queen's Jubilee celebrations thanks to his cheeky behaviour.

Princess Charlotte accompanied Kate Middleton and Prince William to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham today. The fourth in line to the throne wore a navy and white striped dress, with a peter pan collar. Charlotte's dress is from the London-based brand Rachel Riley.

Princess Charlotte has been pictured cheering on swimmers at the Commonwealth Games with her parents. The three were at Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Smethwick, the only brand-new venue for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Charlotte seemed to be enjoying herself, making plenty of faces – though nothing to compete with Prince Louis at the Platinum Jubilee.
