However, a resurfaced report by the Mail on Sunday from 2007 alleged that the couple had gone their separate ways as William thought the "fun" had disappeared from their relationship, according to royal correspondent Kate Nicholl.
The report also claimed that Kate had been left 'humiliated' after Prince William was spotted out and about at multiple London nightclubs with various different girls following their break up.
Speaking at the time, friends of Kate's said harsh words has been exchanged between the pair as a result and the princess felt like that William was 'cheapening her image' with his behaviour.
