Pep Guardiola is expected to go full strength in search of a fifth trophy of 2023 on Friday when Manchester City take on Fluminense in the Club World Cup final.
City booked their place in the final with a comfortable 3-0 win against Urawa Red Diamonds on Tuesday. They took the lead with a first-half own-goal before Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva netted after the break.
Competition rules dictate there can be no changes to the squad between the semi-final and final, meaning none of Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku or Kevin De Bruyne could feature. All three would have been left out regardless, with the former pair still training alone.

Guardiola has warned his players that the final against Brazilian opposition will be no walkover and he is expected to return to a full-strength side. That will likely see Julian Alvarez return and take up a more natural No.9 role, compared to Bernardo during the week.
Bernardo dropped deep from a false-nine role on Tuesday and the Portuguese international will likely take up similar positions come Friday, this time starting in the most advanced midfield role. Doku's absence leaves Guardiola with little option but to keep Phil Foden and Jack Grealish on the left and right-wing respectively.
Kovacic will hope to build on an excellent finish during the week by starting in central midfield again, with Rodri anchoring. The Spaniard was taken off after 77 minutes during the semi-final for a brief rest.
