The orchestra will be in safe hands, as conductor Stephen Bell takes to the podium, alongside phenomenal vocalists Alison Jiear and Matthew Ford - simply a must see for any Bond fan.
Later, on Saturday, July 6, the Hallé will take you on an American musical odyssey in Stars and Stripes, as the brass section stars in Copland's triumphant 'Fanfare for the Common Man', which heralds the start of this captivating exploration of music from the States. The concert includes David Arnold's bombastic score to Independence Day, Bernstein and Gershwin’s classic, sparkling rhythms, and the pomp and patriotism of Sousa’s Stars and Stripes will send you marching home, longing for more. Stephen Bell and the orchestra will also be joined by award-winning pianist Viv McLean.
