The cast of Pharrell Williams‘ upcoming movie musical just got bigger!
Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson and Grammy winner Anderson Paak have both been added to the star-studded cast of the film, inspired by Pharrell‘s childhood neighborhood, according to Deadline.

The upcoming movie is “set in Virginia Beach in the summer of 1977, the film pays homage to the neighborhood where Williams grew up, and its Atlantis Apartments, in particular.”
Details on Quinta and Anderson‘s roles are under wraps.
They join previously announced stars Kelvin Harrison Jr, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Halle Bailey, Missy Elliott, Brian Tyree Henry, Janelle Monae, Tim Meadows, Jaboukie Young-White, Jamilah Rosemond and Jayson Lee.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry will direct the project based on a script by Martin Hynes and Steven Levenson. Further plot details and character roles have not yet been revealed.
