Once upon a time, the entire cast of Jackass, couldn’t be insured.
In a recent video with Vanity Fair, Johnny Knoxville opened up about how due to the severity of the stunts he and many of the group members performed, they weren’t able to get insurance.

During the video, Johnny was taking a lie detector test and when asked if he was an insurance agent’s worst nightmare, he definitely tried to lie his way out of it.
“No, does that sound true?” he joked. “OK, you got me, I am.”
He added that “at the end of the Jackass TV show, I think, we lost all our insurance. So that wasn’t great. I think we were uninsurable at that point.”
In addition to Johnny, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Steve-O, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy all starred.
Just recently, Johnny opened up about the injuries he’s sustained so far in the Jackass franchise.
