Amber Heard's sister has slammed Johnny Depp's recent VMA appearance and branded MTV as “disgusting”.The Aquaman actress, 36, lost a defamation case against her ex-husband earlier this year following their highly-publicised libel trial. Now, her sister Whitney Henriquez has called the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's cameo as “disgusting” after his virtual appearances as the famous Moonman at the VMA ceremony.

On Sunday, Whitney called the network out following the ceremony. “@MTV you’re disgusting and clearly desperate! I really hope that none of the people that made this call have daughters...#DVMAs #IStandWithAmberHeard,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories over an image of her sister superimposed on a graphic with the DVMAS hashtag and logo.  Whitney, who also appeared on the witness stand during Amber and Johnny’s six-week trial, has been vocal about supporting her sister following the verdict that ruled mostly in Johnny’s favor.

Whitney was frequently pictured at her sister's side during the trial, even giving her own testimony before the jury.
