Lil Yachty distances himself from his old material, says he made Let’s Start Here for “respect”

Lil Yachty has spoken at length about new album Let's Start Here, telling Billboard that he made the psych-rock album to be "respected" and that he has no affection for the music he was making before he released the project. Yachty has divided the rap world with the album, which saw him working with collaborators including electronic producer Jam City and Patrick Wimberly of Chairlift. At one point in the Billboard feature Yachty says: “Fuck any of the albums I dropped before this one,” explaining that he has never felt as fully represented by a release as he does with Let's Start Here.

‘The Mandalorian’: Jon Favreau Says There’s No Planned Ending & Characters “Could Be With Us For A While”

As we are just days away from Season 3 debuting, and with news that Season 4 is already written, it would appear “The Mandalorian” is still chugging along and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. “The Mandalorian” Season 3 arrives in a few weeks, but Season 4 of the Disney+ series has already been written. There’s the possibly apocryphal tale that Jon Favreau had already written several scripts for the breakout live-action “Star Wars” series before it was even properly greenlit for Disney+, and ever since he has worked at a furious pace, overseeing several seasons of “The Mandalorian” and much of the related output like “The Book of Boba Fett.” And in a new interview with a French outlet (which you can watch below), Favreau lets it slip that the fourth season of the ”Star Wars” series has already been written and is ready to go.“We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully formed story,” Favreau told BFM TV. “We had mapped it out, Dave [Filoni] and I, and slowly you start to write each episode.
