Jean Smart rocks a red hot outfit for the season two premiere of Hacks held at DGA Theater Complex on Monday night (May 9) in Los Angeles.
The 70-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her son, Forrest Gilliland, as well as many of her co-stars including Hannah Einbinder, Christopher McDonald, and Carl Clemons-Hopkins.
Rose Abdoo, Angela E. Gibbs, Luenell, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Johnny Sibilly, Mark Indelicato, and Ally Maki were also seen at the event, along side one special guest star of the upcoming season, Ming-Na Wen.
Ana Ortiz was also spotted at the premiere, supporting her former Ugly Betty co-star Mark.
In Season 2 of Hacks, the dark mentorship between legendary Las Vegas comedian Deborah Vance (Smart) and her young, entitled writer Ava (Einbinder) continues to evolve as the two travel across the country workshopping Deborah’s new stand-up act.

Actor John Aylward, best known for his portrayals of Dr. Donald Anspaugh on ER, and former DNC chairman Barry Goodwin on The West Wing, died this week at his home in Seattle. Aylward’s death overnight Monday was confirmed by his wife Mary Fields to his longtime agent, Mitchell K. Stubbs. He had been in declining health, according to Fields. Aylward was 75.
Fox has given a straight-to-series order to Alert, a character-driven police procedural from The Blacklist showrunner John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx. The pickup was part of Fox’s upfront slate announcement for the 2022-23 season.
