Fox Orders ‘Alert’ Missing Persons Drama Series From John Eisendrath & Jamie Foxx

Texas native Jamie Foxx joined the chorus of voices wondering how something like the school massacre in Uvalde could happen in the United States of America. The comedian, who himself was recently involved in subduing a man who attacked Dave Chappelle onstage, posted 16 Uvalde victims’ photos and wrote:

Jamie Foxx was all smiles this weekend when he was spotted cuddling with a mystery woman under the French sunshine. The 54-year-old actor and singer lounged by the coastside with someone who could be his newest girlfriend while on vacation in the south of France.The couple snuggled together on a daybed aboard a luxury yacht in the French Riviera before hopping on a jet ski in the water. The woman wore a bright red two-piece with black shorts over the bottom.

Jamie Foxx took a break from a busy schedule to fit in a vacation right in the resort town of Cannes where many of his Hollywood peers are taking the region’s international film festival on the French Riviera. The 54-year-old actor was spotted by photographers catching waves and sun rays with a mystery woman aboard a luxury yacht and on a speeding Jet Ski as she wrapped herself around his waist for safety. Another image saw the two get close while on the vessel.

The missing persons' drama "tells the story of a high-tech police unit whose job is to find the missing, the abducted or kidnapped and help them reunite with their loved ones before it's too late," Foxx said during the presentation.  FOX is also bringing a crime anthology series titled "Accused." The show hails from the creative minds behind "Homeland" and "24" as well as the creator of "House." Marlee Matlin and Billy Porter will direct the first two episodes.
