The 42-year-old actor kept it casual for his outing in a denim jacket, navy button down and cuffed jeans. He was seen greeting fans as he ran some errands during his day out.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (April 7), Jason opened up about his decision to leave L.A. for life in a small town.

He shared that once How I Met Your Mother came to an end, he realized there wasn’t as much pressure for him to live in Hollywood anymore. “I was like, ‘Oh, I can do whatever I want now,” he said. “I’m gonna go live in this town and I never left.”
As for whether he ever missed living in a big city, Jason replied: “Sometimes, but not really. I like being in a small town. Like, I go to the high school football games and stuff and eat a sandwich, which I didn’t know if you could do without kids, but you can. And I go to the Christmas play in town and I wait outside and ask little kids to sign my playbill. It’s really fun. I love it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, he recalled Judd Apatow making Kevin Hart live with him for six months while they were working on a pilot for North Hollywood.
“So, all of a sudden, Kevin Hart was just living with me and he’d be like, ‘Hey man, are you making breakfast? I’d like some too,’” Jason said. “Then I’m making breakfast for Kevin Hart.”
