Taylor Swift‘s partner Joe Alwyn has been named as a co-writer of a new track on her upcoming album ‘Midnights’.Titled ‘Sweet Nothing’, the song is the penultimate track on Swift’s tenth album, which will be released this Friday (October 21).Alwyn appears under the pseudonym William Bowery, the name which he was also credited for his contributions to Swift’s 2020 albums ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’.As the release date of ‘Midnights’ approaches, Swift has gradually been revealing more information about her highly anticipated new record. So far, she has confirmed that the album’s first single will be ‘Anti Hero’, while IndieWire recently revealed that two of its tracks, ‘Karma’ and ‘Lavender Haze’, were co-written with Zoë Kravitz.In addition, the album will feature a collaboration with Lana Del Rey called ‘Snow On The Beach’.

The album's credits list includes quite a few familiar names and one highly recognizable pseudonym. In addition to Swift's frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, who is credited on 11 of the LP's 13 tracks, Zoe Kravitz is also named as a co-writer on «Lavender Haze» and «Karma.» Swift's boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is also listed under his familiar songwriting pen name, William Bowery, on the song «Sweet Nothing.» Alwyn previously contributed to Swift's 2020 albums and  on the tracks «Exile,» «Betty,» «Champagne Problems,» «Coney Island» and «Evermore.» Alwyn's secret alias was eventually confirmed by Swift herself in her Disney+ special,

Ice Cube has taken to Twitter to refute comments made by Kanye West in an interview linking the rapper to West’s antisemitic views.In an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast – in which he made several inflammatory statements, and which has since been taken down from online platforms – West referenced Cube multiple times. At one point, West claimed that Cube had “really influenced” him to “get on this antisemite vibe”.West has made a slew of antisemitic comments over the past weeks. A post directed at the Jewish community led to West being suspended from Instagram and later Twitter, where he wrote that he “[would be] going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE”.West’s comments were criticised by the likes of David Schwimmer, John Legend, Jack Antonoff and KISS‘ Paul Stanley.
