Jamie Laing has revealed that he and wife Sophie Habboo have already been in couples therapy, despite being married for less than a year. The former Made in Chelsea couple officially tied the knot at a registry office in London on April 14, 2023, before throwing a lavish second wedding in Spain two months later, which was attended by many of their celebrity pals. Jamie, 35, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, 7 February to raise awareness about Tinnitus, from which he suffers - as does GMB host Susanna Reid.
During his appearance, Jamie spoke about having couples therapy with wife, Sophie, 30. Richard Madely, who was hosting the show alongside Susanna, asked Jamie: "So, do you hear things from her [Sophie] during therapy that surprise you, and you think, 'oh god I didn't know that'?" Jamie joked that he thought he was "amazing" and "didn't have any faults" as Susanna and Richard laughed, but he then admitted he realised that he, in fact, does. He explained: "I learned that I don't always listen a lot, and that I can do things that can be slightly jarring or irritating.
"And when you start to have those conversations... I really think that relationships are all about honesty." Jamie and Sophie have previously opened up about getting couples therapy. He told Metro: "We’ve done couples therapy, and I’m just such a big advocate for it.
We did it because I thought it would really help us." "I have done sessions on my own for years, and it’s made me so much more self-aware. Opening up to someone and taking the stigma out of mental health has been incredible. "I kept it in for ages.
