Jameela Jamil is opening up about the role she missed out on.
The 37-year-old Good Place alum revealed in a new interview that she had an audition for a part on Netflix’s hit series, You in season 4.
However, she called it off and is now revealing just why.

Speaking in on the Podcrushed podcast, Jameela explained that she pulled out of the audition due to the role’s “sexiness”.
“I don’t do sex scenes,” she stated on the program with host Penn Badgley, who stars in the lead part. “In fact, I was supposed to audition for the most recent season of your show.”
Jameela says that her “character was supposed to be quite sexy, and I pulled out of the audition, because I am so shy about anything sexy that I can’t., and then you f***ing came out and were like, ‘Yeah, I’m not doing sex scenes anymore.’”
She went on, saying that she “didn’t even know that was a boundary that we could draw. But then I was like, I should have gone and done the f***ing show.
Jameela doesn’t just draw that line in her own work, but doesn’t even want to “watch sex scenes in films… Even on my own, I have to fast forward through sex scenes because I’ve become so shy about watching other people.”
