Jake Gyllenhaal is sharing some rare insight into his relationship with Jeanne Cadieu.
In a new interview with Esquire for the mag’s March issue, the 41-year-old actor opened up about feeling “at ease” with the 25-year-old model.

“In a lot of ways, we’re family,” Jake explained. “I’m in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease.”
The couple were first linked back in 2018 and they’ve kept their relationship largely private, having been spotted in public together infrequently over the past three years. They made their red carpet debut back in September 2021.
Jake also told Esquire that he and Jeanne stayed with his godmother Jamie Lee Curtis in the early months of the pandemic and celebrated Hanukkah with his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard and nieces Ramona and Gloria.
“It’s my family, my friends, and the people I love who take priority,” he continued, “and not, I hate to say it, the career. And maybe that’s me saying they didn’t always.”
