Maggie Gyllenhaal keeps close to husband Peter Sarsgaard for the 2022 Oscars Nominees Luncheon held at Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday (March 7) in Los Angeles.
The longtime couple stepped out to celebrate both Maggie‘s, and many other’s Oscar nominations for the 2022 ceremony.
Maggie is up for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Lost Daughter at the upcoming event.
She just recently picked up the Spirit Awards for Best Director and Best Picture for the movie over the weekend!
While discussing her Oscar nomination recently, Maggie, who became just the third woman to be recognized in both acting and screenplay categories alongside Emma Thompson and Ruth Gordon, said that’s “f***ing amazing”.
“I would be in any club that those women were in,” adding that “it was a real risk to me to move into this whole other way of thinking about storytelling, writing and directing. And so to be acknowledged by other writers means means a huge amount to me.”
