But some fans of the show are convinced Meena will stay in the programme until October and her exit storyline will be part of a huge 50th anniversary celebration, reports the Mirror.
Faizal Perager shared on Twitter: "Emmerdale Psycho Meena isn't dead. She'll recover, be arrested for her crimes, go to Prison and then she'll return more unhinged for revenge on everyone in October in the show's big 50th Anniversary Week episodes!"
Twitter user James said: "Now I think about it I can see Meena escaping prison and coming back for the 50th anniversary causing chaos which I have to say I wouldn’t complain because she is one of the best villains in soaps."
