Saturday Night Live is back for another evening of entertainment tonight (April 15), and it’s shaping up to be a big show.

Coronation Street fans were far from impressed with Friday’s edition of the ITV soap, as the resident cobbles villain Stephen Reid claimed the life of another character. In a flashback scene, viewers at home were shown the exact moment Stephen murdered his business rival Rufus Donahue, after Rufus had been blackmailing him into handing over 50% of the profits from Underworld’s new venture Nippersnapper.

Fans of Saturday Night Takeaway were left “cheated” after a new documentary offered them a look behind the scenes at how the show is made. Fans of the show are gutted this series has come to an end, as they took to Twitter in their droves to praise it.

Ahead of this year’s Eurovision song contest, which Rylan has been confirmed to be presenting, the Geordie duo set up a fake video shoot ahead of the ceremony, where they asked Rylan to pronounce phrases in foreign languages and pose for what he thought was a legitimate video with a green screen.

In the show, a contestant is confronted with 22 sealed boxes, each one hiding a different amount of money. Without knowing what each one contains, the contestant must eliminate the boxes, which are opened one at a time, and the amount of money inside is revealed. Pressure mounts as the player is tempted by the Banker to accept an offer of cash in exchange for what might be inside their box. As long as the larger cash prizes remain unchosen, the Banker’s offers will get higher. But that can all change in an instant if a big cash prize is unveiled.

Deal Or No Deal is set to return to screens with Stephen Mulhern on hosting duties. ITV has announced it is reviving the gameshow, which became famous for its red boxes ranging in cash prizes from 1p to the £250,000 jackpot, after it was axed by Channel 4 in 2016.The new series, for which casting is currently under way, will see “a brand-new setting with brand-new prize boxes and a new batch of contestants”, according to ITV.

Whilst coming live from Birmingham during his Takeaway Truck segment, Jordan had previously told viewers he was going to have a carvery before his segment, however when his time came to present, Jordan could barely get his words out – as he was too busy choking on a pea.
