Ant and Dec say 'we've been stitched up' as they hit Universal ahead of special ITV Saturday Night Takeaway episode

Former Emmerdale actor Dale Meeks has tragically passed away aged 47. Dale appeared on the ITV soap as Simon Meredith from 2003 until the character's departure from the Yorkshire Dales in 2006. He also had roles in Byker Grover, Heartbeat and most recently The Hunt for Raoul Moat.

The hit programme Britain's Got Talent descended into chaos during Saturday night's episode of the show, with presenters Ant and Dec crashing the stage after one bizarre performance.

Carol Vorderman has said she wants to say “a big thank you” to I’m A Celebrity…Get Met Out Of Here! presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly when she competes in the all stars series in South Africa.The 62-year-old former Countdown star, who was the fifth contestant to be eliminated in 2016 during the reality TV show in Australia, is returning for I’m A Celebrity… South Africa alongside boxing champion Amir Khan and dancer Jordan Banjo among others.  Carol said: “It made me realise that you need to live in the now. A shocked Ant said: "My [clapperboard] has broken! It just fell apart in the heat." Dec and Nicole burst out laughing as Ant added: "It's alright I can use [the top half] it's fine!" Fans of the show are gutted this series has come to an end, as they took to Twitter in their droves to praise it.

Saturday Night Takeaway star Stephen Mulhern has been celebrating his birthday with showbiz pals Ant and Dec in Florida.The TV star is currently across the Atlantic at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, filming Saturday Night Takeaway's highly-anticipated finale. During his trip abroad, he celebrated his 46th birthday on Tuesday, shocking fans with his age as they believed he was much younger than that. Writing on Twitter on Tuesday night, Stephen said: "Thanks so much for your birthday messages everyone! "I’m running around a theme park and wearing my gold jacket to celebrate! Sending lots of love x." Friends and fans soon commented on the tweet, wishing the presenter a happy birthday.

Rylan Clark has warmed the hearts of many after he was featured in a segment on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Saturday Night Takeaway fans were left “crying” with laugher on the latest instalment of the ITV show, as hosts Ant and Dec amped up the mischief to prank their showbiz pal Rylan. Ahead of this year’s Eurovision song contest, which Rylan has been confirmed to be presenting, the Geordie duo set up a fake video shoot ahead of the ceremony, where they asked Rylan to pronounce phrases in foreign languages and pose for what he thought was a legitimate video with a green screen.

Ant and Dec were left in hysterics on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, just minutes into the show, when one of the usual segments hilariously had to be cut short by a guest’s blunder. During the weekly Ring My Bell segment, where viewers are asked to identify their homes from video doorbell views, it soon ended in "chaos".  When a member of the audience identifies their home, they need to stand up and shout “Ding Dong, That’s My Doorbell” to be eligible to win a prize.
