Love Island's Jake Cornish is believed to have dramatically left the show after being paired with Liberty Poole.
The reality TV star re-entered the iconic villa just three days ago, with the first episode airing last night which saw the public vote to pair Jake with his ex Liberty. However, it seems that this may have proved a bit much for Jake, who has reportedly walked from the villa after just three days.
A TV insider told The Sun: "Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa - they had no idea the other person would be there. It was clear from the start they wouldn't get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him.
"Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat to Maya Jama. Jake couldn't stay in the villa so he quit the show - it's not his time and it's not the right time to find love." OK! have contacted ITV for comment.
Early in the launch show, Jake and Liberty had a rather awkward reunion as they were among the first to arrive in the South African villa.
They were then later paired up by the public, and while this didn't surprise either of them they didn't seem particularly happy or inclinded to rekindle their romance. During their previous stint in the villa, back in 2021, Liberty and Jake coupled up on day one, and with the first few weeks, their relationship seemed to be going from strength to strength, with Liberty even confessing her love for Jake not long into the show.
The couple made their romance official in week four and remained loyal to each other throughout Casa Amour.
