Jake Cornish admitted that he is 'sad' after making the decision to quit Love Island All Stars, just three days into the show. The 28 year old was one of the stars of the new spin-off series, which sees Islanders from previous series coming together in a villa in South Africa for a second shot at love.
But, after just a few days in the villa, Jake announced his decision to leave the show, as he addressed his fellow Islanders around the fire put. His announcement left his ex girlfriend, Liberty Poole in tears.
Things were awkward between them after they saw each other three years after going their separate ways.
The public then chose to put them together as a couple, much to both of their dismay.
Jake likely felt awkward when no girls stepped to his side when host Maya Jama asked them who they fancied the most at the start of the first show. There was further embarrassment for Jake on the second episode of the show, when Liberty revealed his apparent 'foot fetish'.
Following his exit, he sat down with show host Maya Jama, to discuss his reasons for leaving the show as he said "it feels weird to be out". When Maya asked how he was feeling, Jake said: "A lot better, I'm being true to myself.
