I'm a Celebrity fans have been left "in tears" following Tony Bellew's heartbreaking admission on Good Morning Britain.
The former boxer narrowly missed out on becoming this year's King of the Jungle after coming second place to winner Sam Thompson who was crowned yesterday evening.
The Made in Chelsea star had been bookies' clear favourite ahead of the I'm A Celebrity final with fans falling in love with his genuine and humorous nature which also rubbed off on his fellow campmate Tony, who he developed a close relationship with during his time in the Australian jungle.
Fans could not get enough of their bromance with Tony even referring to 31-year-old Sam as his "fifth child" who was now invited round to Christmas with his family, the ECHO reports.
Tony has now captured fan's hearts once again after his candid confession to hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls during his interview on Good Morning Britain on Monday Morning.
The 41-year-old explained that he had gone on the show after being persuaded by a pal as he added: "The persona of me is I'm a maniac who punches people in the face.
"The truth is I'm a normal person, the only difference is I used to punch people in the face for a living, that's gone, it's been five years since that."
Opening up about his personal struggles before entering the jungle, Tony confessed he was "going through a lot" before going on the show after losing his "beautiful nan".
He continued: "On top of that I missed my son's birthday which I promised him after I retired I'd never do that again, and I did."
He went on to praise his fellow campmates and "amazing family" as he he told the hosts he "will never quit no matter how hard it gets, and I'm not going to lie it gets hard in there".
