Emmerdale fans think the soap may have risked being slapped with official complaints thanks to a saucy innuendo from Bernice Blackstock. During Thursday night's trip to the Dales, viewers of the ITV show saw the new B&B owner having to talk to Wendy Posner after she accused her and new business partner Bob Hope of sleeping together.
Nurse Wendy got the wrong end of the stick when she heard Bernice and Bob talking as they took a break from their successful re-opening of The Grange after taking over the business from Eric Pollard. However, they were actually talking about Bernice's rendezvous with harpist Tim.
It came after Bob thought the musician, who had been roped in to perform at the B&B's reopening, was dead after he failed to wake up. However, he later emerged from the guest room having overslept after taking a sleeping pill to combat Bernice's snoring.

Heading to the doctor's surgery to explain all to Wendy, after she had doused a confused Bob in a bucket of cold water, Bernice explained: "I slept with Tim, the man who played the harp. Oh Wendy, you should have seen him - such wonderful fingering."
Bernice went on to add she mistakenly thought she had killed the harpist during their night together before adding: "I mean to be fair it had been a very long and fallow period."
But the previous comment appeared to stun Emmerdale viewers who flocked to social media to comment. @lesleylyness tweeted: "#Emmerdale Should that be mentioned Bernice. Before the nine o’clock watershed..."
