An adaptation of the Booker Prize-winning novel by Richard Flanaghan, the five-part series is love story set against the backdrop of World War II. Production is by Curio Pictures with Prime Video releasing the title in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

He will be remembered as one of Britain’s most talented and beloved actors.”While a cause of death was not shared, the actor’s rep Paul Pearson told Variety that Joss Ackland – born Sidney Edmond Jocelyn Ackland in North Kensington, London, in 1928 – died “peacefully”.
